away on Monday, Mr. Ralph
M o r r i s Christiansen
aged 71 years, beloved
husband of Mrs. Christina
Rose Christiansen of Waterton.
Born in Oslo, Norway,
he came to Canada with his
family in 1901 settling in Lethbridge.
In 1914 he joined the
army and served overseas for
the duration of the war. Upon
his return he worked on ranches
until joining the Federal Government
Parks Department in
1924 He served for many years
at Waterton Lakes as a Park
Warden, retiring in 1959. Besides
his wife he is survived by
two sons, John of Waterton,
Ted of Chilliwack, B.C.; one
daughter, Mrs. G. (Mildred)
Davis of Nelson, B.C.; seven
grandchildren; one sister in
Michigan. The funeral service
will be held in the Waterton
Community Hall Friday, Oct.
21 at 2 p.m., Rev. Karl Keller
officiating. Interment in Waterton
Cemetery. Flowers gratefully
declined. Eden's Funeral
Home, Pincher Creek in charge
of arrangements.
