     Martha Pedersdatter was born in 1805 at Samnanger, Hordaland.¹ She was christened on 21 April 1805 at Os prestegjeld, Hordaland.¹

     Isak Persen Vara was born between 1809 and 1811 at Kokkola, Länsi-Suomen lääni.^2,3 He married Margrethe Hansdatter on 17 July 1836 at Alta sogn, Alta, Finnmark.³

     He appeared on the 1865 Census at Lerynmoen, Alta, Finnmark, with his wife, three children, a foster child and a welfare recipient, as: Isak Wara, head of household, farmer/owner shoemaker (Gaardbr. Selveier Skomager), married, 54, born in Sweden.(See household and details).²

     He appeared on the 1875 Census at Brøndmoen, Alta, Finnmark, with his wife, and two grown children as lodgers with their families, as: Isak Persen Wara, head of household, Shoemaker (Skomager), born 1809 in Kokkola.(See household and details).⁴

      Anders Vilhelm Johannesen Gunnari was also known as Wilhelm Johannesen.² Anders Vilhelm Johannesen Gunnari was also known as Wilhelm Gunnari.³ Anders Vilhelm Johannesen Gunnari was also known as Wilhelm Gundersen.⁴ He was born between 1809 and 1812 at Torneå, Lappland.^5,6 He immigrated in 1825.^7,3 He and Marie Johannesdatter had twins, Alexander and Bernard, out of wedlock on 1 March 1844. Bernhard died at 9 days, Alexander at 6 months.^7,8,9,10 He married Maria Johannesdatter, daughter of Johannes Eriksen and Anna Hansdatter, between 1844 and 1845 at Finnmark.      Kristian Arnesen was born in 1814 at Enebakk, Akershus.¹ He married Maria Torstensdatter, daughter of Torsten Knutsen Tuftin and Mari Paulsdatter, on 14 November 1844 at Enebakk, Akershus.¹ He and Maria Torstensdatter were registered as moved from Enebakk, Akershus, to til Aker on 29 April 1864 with their children Thea and Johan.²

     He appeared on the 1865 Census at Vålerenga, Oslo, with his wife, children and mother, as: Kristian Arnesen, lodger (logerende), Labourer(Arbeidsmd), 53 , Enebak.(See household and details).³ He died on 18 February 1890 at Johnsrudtangen, Lunder sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud, from angina (brystkramper).⁴

      Maria Johannesdatter was also known as Maria Pipola.³ She was born on 8 June 1814 at Alta sogn, Alta, Finnmark.² She was christened on 21 August 1814 at Alta sogn, Alta, Finnmark.² She was confirmed on 24 October 1830 at Elvebakken, Alta, Alta, Finnmark.⁴ She and Johan Henriksen were divorced on 29 April 1832 at Talvik, Finnmark.⁴ She and Wilhelm Gundersen had twins, Alexander and Bernard, out of wedlock on 1 March 1844. Bernhard died at 9 days, Alexander at 6 months.^4,5,6,7 She married Anders Vilhelm Johannesen Gunnari between 1844 and 1845 at Finnmark. No record has been found in the Alta-Talvik parish.^5,8,9

     Kari Nilsdatter was born on 2 December 1814 at Gran, Oppland.¹ She was christened on 4 December 1814 at Gran, Oppland.¹ She married Anders Andersen on 20 September 1836 at Gran, Oppland.²

     She appeared on the 1865 Census at Værkestuen, Gran sogn, Gran, Oppland, with her husband and children, as: Kari Nilsdatter, his wife (hans Kone), age 52 , born in Gran Parish.(See household and details).³ She appeared on the census of 1900.

     Martha Magdele Evensdatter was born in 1815 at Os, Hordaland.^1,2,4 Her mother married Johannes Johannesen Tveitarås on 6 July 1817 at Samnanger sogn, Os prestegjeld, Hordaland.⁵ She was confirmed on 22 November 1829 at Os, Hordaland.² She married Nils Lassesson Høysæter, son of Lasse Nilsson Høysæter and Guro Endresdatter, on 9 July 1839 at Samnanger, Hordaland.¹

     She appeared on the 1865 Census at Høysæter, Samnanger, Hordaland, with her husband and children, as: Marte Johannesdatter, his wife (hans Kone) aged 51. (The last name must be an error by the census taker. I have searched for and not found any record of her dying or he remarrying between 1853 and 1866.).(See household and details).⁶ She died on 5 October 1884 at Høysæter, Samnanger, Hordaland.⁴ She was buried on 12 October 1884 at Samnanger sogn, Os prestegjeld, Hordaland.⁴ Funeral rites were held on 12 October 1884.⁴

     Knut Torstensen Odda was born on 6 December 1815 at Hovlandeie, Lunder sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud.^2,3 He was christened on 1 January 1816 at Lunder sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud.²

23 October 1832 Knut Torstensen Røsbyeie was sentenced at Knestang, Ringerike, Buskerud to two months hard labor and payment of trial expenses for stealing a sheep on the 29th of August the same year. The court record says the court took into account it being the defendant's first offence, his low age and his state of utter poverty, but the trial expenses must have been way beyond his means as the court scribe alone demanded six times what Knut got for the sheep, as he manages to mention twice.

      He was imprisoned from 14 December 1832 to 14 February 1833 at Christiania tukthus, Oslo.¹ He was confirmed on 14 September 1834 at Lunder sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud.²

Knut Torstensen was sentenced to three years hard labor for the theft of a silver pocket watch on 19 February 1839 at Ager sorenskriveri, Aker, Akershus.^3,4 He was imprisoned from 5 March 1839 to 5 March 1842 at Akershus festning, Oslo.⁵ The prison records describe him as dark haired, with dark eyebrows, blue eyed, with a scar on the back of his left hand, and 68 1/2 (old Norwegian) inches tall (179 cm).⁵

      He married Inger Torine Gulbrandsdatter, daughter of Gulbrand Joensen and Olaug Hansdatter, on 9 February 1845 at Viker kirke, Viker sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud.^6,7 He and Inger Torine Gulbrandsdatter lived at Åsterud under Bergsund, Ådal, Buskerud.⁷ He and Inger Torine Gulbrandsdatter lived at Bergsundbråten, Ådal, Buskerud.⁷

     He appeared on the 1865 Census at Odda, Ådal, Buskerud, with his wife and children, as: Knut Torstensen, head of household (Husfader), Crofter (Husmand med Jord), 51 born Ringeriget.(See household and details).⁸

     He appeared on the 1875 Census at Odda, Ådal, Buskerud, with his wife, children and grandson, as: Knut Torstensen Odda, head of household (Husfader), Crofter and Shoemaker (Husmand Skomager), 1815, Lunder Norderhaug.(See household and details).⁹ Knut Torstensen Odda and Paul Knudson served as witness at the wedding of Johan Knudsen and Julie Margrethe Andersdatter Somdalsbråten on 1 May 1876 at Ådal sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud.^7,10 His wife, Inger Torine, died of stomach cancer (Mavekræft) on 27 June 1896 at Odda, Ådal, Buskerud.^11,12,7

     He appeared on the 1900 Census at Odda, Ådal, Buskerud, with his son's family, as: Knut Torstensen Odda, Shoemaker receives support for the poor (Skomager Fattigunderstøttelse) 1815 Sognedalen Bu.(See household and details).¹³ He died on 6 January 1905 at Odda, Ådal, Buskerud, presumably from old age (Antag. alderdomssvaghed) as a pauper (Avdøde eide intet.      Gjertrud Andersdatter Storruste was born on 7 January 1817 at Sør-Aurdal prestegjeld, Oppland.¹ She married Ole Christopherson Goplerud, son of Christopher Levorson Goplerud and Guri Olsdatter Lindelien, on 5 October 1847 at Sør-Aurdal, Oppland.^1,2 Her husband purchased the farm Storruste, Sør-Aurdal, Oppland.¹

     She appeared on the 1865 Census at Storruste, Sør-Aurdal, Oppland, with her husband, children, widowed mother and three servants, as: Gjertrud Andersdatter, his Wife (hans Kone), age 49, born in Søndre Aurdal.(See household and details).³ She died on 25 March 1891 at Storruste, Sør-Aurdal, Oppland, at age 74.¹

     Ole Christopherson Goplerud was born on 7 January 1817 at Sør-Aurdal, Oppland.² He married Gjertrud Andersdatter Storruste, daughter of Anders Johnsen and Olia Ellingsdatter, on 5 October 1847 at Sør-Aurdal, Oppland.^1,3 He purchased at Storruste, Sør-Aurdal, Oppland, and lived there with Gjertrud Andersdatter Storruste.¹

     He appeared on the 1865 Census at Storruste, Sør-Aurdal, Oppland, with his wife, children and mother-in-law, as: Ole Christoffersen, Head of household (Husfader), Farmer and owner (Gaardbruger og Selveier), age 49, born in Søndre Aurdal.(See household and details).⁴ He died on 28 June 1891 at age 74.²

     Maria Torstensdatter was born on 2 April 1818 at Slette, Lunder sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud.^2,1 She was christened on 19 April 1818 at Lunder sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud.^2,1 She was confirmed on 4 October 1835 at Norderhov, Buskerud.³ She was registered as moved from Røsbyeie, Lunder sogn, Ringerike, Buskerud, to Christiania on 1 December 1841.⁴ She married Kristian Arnesen on 14 November 1844 at Enebakk, Akershus.⁵ She and Kristian Arnesen were registered as moved from Enebakk, Akershus, to til Aker on 29 April 1864 with their children Thea and Johan.⁶

     Nils Lassesson Høysæter was born on 28 November 1818 at Høysæter, Samnanger, Hordaland.¹ He was christened on 5 December 1818 at Os prestegjeld, Hordaland.¹ He married Martha Magdele Evensdatter Tveteraas, daughter of Even Engelsen Jarland and Magdela Hansdatter Bjørndal, on 9 July 1839 at Samnanger, Hordaland.²

     He appeared on the 1865 Census at Høysæter, Samnanger, Hordaland, with his wife, children and his father's sister, as: Niels Lasseson, Head of household (Huusfader), Farmer and owner (Gaardbruger og Selveier) aged 48.(See household and details).³ His wife, Martha Magdele, died on 5 October 1884 at Høysæter, Samnanger, Hordaland.⁴ He died on 2 February 1895 at Høysæter, Samnanger, Hordaland, at age 76.⁵ He was buried on 7 February 1895 at Samnanger sogn, Os prestegjeld, Hordaland.⁵ Funeral rites were held on 28 April 1895.⁵

     Anne Kirstine Johnsdatter was born in 1820 at Norderhov, Buskerud.¹ She married Ole Olsen Mælingen on 4 November 1839 at Norderhov, Buskerud.¹

     She appeared on the 1865 Census at Bjergfjerdingen, Hønefoss, Ringerike, Buskerud, with her husband, children and a granddaughter, as: Anne Kjestine Johnsdatter, his wife (hans Kone), 46.(See household and details).²
